Why I Started Striking Detail#

I got my start in the car detailing world before serving my mission in Richmond, VA. During that time, I learned the value of hard work and attention to detail - skills that translate perfectly to car detailing.

After returning from my mission, I spent the summer selling pest control in Illinois, which taught me a lot about running a business and working with customers. Now I've moved to Provo and I'm excited to be back to what I'm passionate about - making cars look amazing.

Why Car Detailing?#

Car detailing is the perfect fit for me because:

1. I love watching car detailing videos on YouTube. Some of my favorite channels are The Detail Geek, MAD Detailing, and Stauffers Garage.
2. I already had experience detailing cars before my mission.
3. I have all the equipment needed to provide professional results.
4. There's a real need for quality detailing services in this area.

My goal is to build this business into something I can be proud of while providing exceptional service to every customer.

About the Name#

Finding the right business name is challenging, especially when you need an available .com domain. After going through many ideas, I chose "Striking Detail" because "strike" has a connection to baseball - and yes, I was named after Lou Gehrig! The name also represents the striking results I deliver with every detail job.
